Scope of Various Completed Projects

Geographic Services’ projects have involved regions ranging from South America to Southeast Asia. The scopes of the various projects have been to update NGA’s existing GeoNames Database using a variety of source materials. Sources include Controlled Imagery Based (CIB) satellite imagery, Feature Foundation Data (FFD), hard copy and digital TLMs from 1:50K scale to 1:500K scale, and other Cartographic Sources in Romanized and native text.
